Our History
1962
Stephen Fisher, Sr., starts making fire escapes and ornamental iron railings in his Rawlinsville garage.
1965
SS Fisher Welding Company is established and moves into a 3,000 sq ft facility.
1980s
SS Fisher Steel Corporation experiences rapid growth and expands into a 22,000 sq ft facility.
1987
SS Fisher Steel is sold to his children, who establish Steel Fab Enterprises Inc., a miscellaneous metals contractor, purchasing the old building and 22,000 sq ft facility.
2015
Steel Fab Enterprises expands into a second 70,000 sq ft building, acquiring heavy crane capacity and adding Ficep’s largest automated drilling and layout machine.
Present
Steve and Kurt Fisher, along with the third-generation Fisher family, run day-to-day operations. Steel Fab Enterprises has become one of the largest structural steel and miscellaneous facilities in Central PA, with over 62 years of experience.
Throughout History
Completed over 4,000 diverse projects across Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and all of the northeastern United States.

Steve Fisher
President

CEO Steve Fisher has worked over 45 years in the Structural Steel industry from Erection of Structural Steel, Sales, Sales Manager, General Manager/Executive Vice President, and presently President of Steel Fab Enterprises. He has studied Time Management, Management, Sales, Construction Pricing, Leadership, Supervisory and Effective Speaking, Memory, and Public Speaking Dale Carnegie Management. Steve has also attended several AISC Conventions and NOMMA Conventions.
Kurt Fisher
Vice President & Head of Sales

Vice President/Estimating & Sales Kurt Fisher has worked over 37 years in the structural steel industry from Detailing, Erection of Structural Steel, Sales, Sales Manager and presently Vice President Head of Sales. Kurt attended Elizabethtown College and Millersville University, studying Business Administration. He has taken various courses in fabrication, erection, and estimating. Attended several AISC Conventions, NOMMA Conventions, and SEAA Conventions and toured many structural steel and miscellaneous fabrication plants.
Janelle Fisher-Miller

Controller Janelle Fisher-Miller has worked over 18 years in the steel industry as a Drawing Coordinator, Assistant to the Project Managers, Production Control, Purchasing, Information Technology, and Staff Accountant and is presently the Controller. Janelle graduated from Bloomsburg University with a major in Business Administration. She has attended several AISC Conventions, SEAA Conventions, and NOMMA Conventions. She has studies in Web Development, AutoCAD, Human Relations, and Lean Management.

Operations Manager Daniel Stoltzfus is the SFE Operations Manager currently and has over 15 years of experience in the structural steel and miscellaneous metals industry. Daniel has 11 years of Fabrication and Field Operations knowledge working as an Iron Worker and Field foreman in the structural steel and miscellaneous metals industry. Daniel has four years of Project management experience and is currently the Steel Fabs Operations Manager, leading the production team to deliver cost effective and quality projects to our customers.
