Our History

In 1962, Stephen Fisher, Sr. began making fire escapes and ornamental iron railings in his Rawlinsville two-car garage.

He then began to make porches and steel beams. Three years later, he established SS Fisher Welding Company and moved into a 3,000-square-foot facility.

In the early 1980s, the business began growing rapidly, became SS Fisher Steel Corporation, and expanded into a 22,000-square-foot facility. This facility would become the home of Steel Fab Enterprises and would continue to house our everyday operations.
